Job Role: Sales Operations Associate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, and motivated Sales Operations Associate to drive business growth and ensure exceptional client acquisition and retention. This hybrid role blends sales responsibilities with relationship management, and the ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of selling digital risk management solutions, including AML technology, to financial institutions and other industries where AML tech is crucial. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Identify and target potential customers, particularly within the financial services sector, to present the company's digital risk management and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the company's AML offerings, industry trends, and customer needs to effectively communicate value and secure new business opportunities.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting, effective negotiation, and closing of deals.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to uncover new growth opportunities and trends within the financial services sector and other industries that require digital risk management solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide detailed and timely sales reports, including pipeline and forecast updates, to management.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly financial institutions, ensuring satisfaction with the company's AML and risk management solutions.
  • Understand clients' evolving needs and work to deliver value by positioning the company's products or services as the solution to their challenges.
  • Keep clients informed about new products, features, or services that align with their needs and business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional AML or risk management solutions to existing clients.
  • Monitor client accounts and ensure all contractual obligations are met, maximizing long-term retention.

Industry and Market Insights:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, regulations, and innovations in AML, financial crime prevention, and digital risk management solutions.
  • Leverage industry insights to guide clients toward best practices in risk management and compliance technology.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly within the financial services sector or industries that require AML solutions.
  • Experience selling digital risk management or AML technology, including software solutions, to financial institutions, banks, and other relevant industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial crime prevention and AML regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, such as HubSpot, to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, staying focused on both customer acquisition and revenue growth.
