Job Title: Coordinator of Volunteers (Contract, Hybrid Role)

Location: Nigeria (Remote/Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Coordinator of Volunteers to manage and oversee our volunteer program. You'll play a key role in training volunteers, coordinating activities, conducting community outreach, and fostering effective communication across our volunteer network.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and manage volunteers, ensuring they're equipped for their roles

  • Coordinate volunteer activities, events, and initiatives

  • Conduct community outreach and engagement to expand our volunteer base

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers and stakeholders

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the volunteer program

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Proven experience in volunteer coordination or management (preferred)

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience in community outreach and engagement

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with community-driven initiatives or social impact projects

  • Familiarity with crowdfunding, e-commerce, or digital platforms
