We are seeking a detail-oriented Farm Processing Officer to manage and oversee the processing of farm products from raw materials to finished goods. The ideal candidate will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency during all processing activities, maintain accurate records, and support smooth operations within the processing unit.

Key Responsibilities

Processing & Production

Oversee daily processing of farm produce (e.g., cassava, maize, fruits, vegetables, animal products, etc.).

Operate and maintain processing machines and equipment according to standards.

Monitor processing steps to ensure product quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Ensure proper sorting, grading, drying, packaging, and storage of processed products.

Qualifications & Skills OND/HND/B.Sc. in Agriculture, Food Science, Animal Science, Crop Production, or related fields. 1–3 years experience in food or agricultural processing (preferred). Knowledge of processing equipment and food safety standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and record-keeping skills. Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment. Physically fit and able to handle processing tasks.
