Job Summary

Land Republic is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance and Treasury Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, cash flow management, and capital structuring. The ideal candidate will bring robust experience in real estate finance, treasury, and audit to support the company's growing development pipeline and ensure best-in-class financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Management

  • Monitor daily cash flow and forecast future liquidity needs across multiple real estate projects and legal entities.
  • Manage banking relationships, optimize banking structures, and oversee compliance with loan covenants.
  • Oversee debt facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, and reporting obligations.
  • Implement and manage treasury policies, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies.

Financial Management & Planning

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the company and individual projects.
  • Partner with project and development teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, funding schedules, and ROI analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for new and ongoing real estate developments.

Audit & Internal Controls

  • Lead the coordination of year-end financial audits and ensure timely responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Strengthen internal control frameworks across finance and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.
  • Conduct periodic internal reviews to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure audit readiness throughout the year.

Capital Management

  • Collaborate with leadership on capital structuring, investor reporting, and JV financing arrangements.
  • Support due diligence, financing negotiations, and capital deployment strategies.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, investor reports, and lender packages.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, financial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and improve reporting systems and integration with ERP tools (e.g., Yardi, SAP, QuickBooks).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, treasury, and audit—preferably in the real estate or construction sector.
  • Strong audit experience, either from a Big Four/public accounting background or within a corporate finance environment.
  • Solid understanding of real estate development finance, project accounting, and capital structuring.
  • Proven ability to design and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.
  • High proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in real estate audit, SPV structures, or REIT accounting.
  • Experience managing audits across multiple legal entities and projects.
  • Familiarity with land development cycles, escrow funding, and draw processes.
