About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing technology company that provides secure FX services and facilitates global payments for individuals and businesses. The organization specializes in foreign exchange conversions and cross-border transactions, ensuring rapid, secure, and seamless movement of funds worldwide.

They are expanding their Treasury team and are seeking experienced professionals with strong FX, liquidity management, and treasury operations expertise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments where precision, risk-awareness, and timely execution are essential.

Role Overview

In this position, you will manage multi-currency fund movements, optimize FX conversions, and ensure timely execution of global payments. You'll work closely with finance and operations to maintain liquidity, support client transactions, and execute trades.

You will also have the opportunity to build and manage a treasury team, develop banking and liquidity partnerships, and drive initiatives that enhance the organization's global treasury capabilities.

Candidates with strong FX market knowledge, treasury experience, or the ability to identify arbitrage opportunities and manage risk will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

The role focuses on three core areas:

1. Treasury Operations

  • Manage daily treasury operations including inflow/outflow processing, payouts, and payment receipts.
  • Oversee reconciliation for accurate transaction reporting.
  • Monitor currency pair movements to spot arbitrage and trading opportunities.
  • Execute FX trades that optimize rates and minimize slippage.
  • Collaborate with finance and compliance teams to ensure controlled, compliant execution.
  • Plan daily liquidity across currencies to maintain adequate working balances while minimizing idle capital.

2. Banking & Partner Relationships

  • Build and manage relationships with banks, FX providers, IMTOs, and payment networks.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing and terms to support smooth cross-border flows.
  • Evaluate and onboard new liquidity partners.
  • Explore emerging payment rails and innovative treasury solutions.

3. Business Development & Strategy

  • Identify new opportunities for cross-border flows, liquidity access, and treasury partnerships.
  • Advise leadership on FX market insights, treasury optimizations, and trends in financial technology.
  • Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead ongoing process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and resilience.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years' experience in Treasury Operations, FX Sales, or Currency Trading, with hands-on experience managing cross-border payments and liquidity.
  • 2–5 years in business development or client relationship management within financial services (Banking, FinTech, BDC, Investment platforms).
  • Strong understanding of FX markets, currency dynamics, and cross-border flows.
  • Experience with FX arbitrage, trading tools, liquidity planning, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with local and international financial regulations, including AML and KYC.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

  • Commission benefit of 10–20% of revenue generated by the Treasury function
