Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Back End Developer. The position is based in Ikeja, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Junior Back End Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications. Key tasks include writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with front-end developers, managing databases, and troubleshooting backend issues to ensure functionality and optimization of services.

Qualifications

  • Competence in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Proficiency in Javascript
  • Foundational knowledge in Back-End Development to support collaborative teamwork
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of common programming languages such as Java, Python, or is an advantage
  • Familiarity with database management systems is beneficial
