Job Description

We are looking for a diligent, reliable and hands-on Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations at FAV Multi-Service. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination of activities, uphold store standards, manage staff performance and maintain accurate stock and sales records.

The Store Supervisor will play a key role in assisting the Manager with day-to-day operations, ensuring that all activities from inventory control to customer engagement, are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of sales, stock management and customer service.

  • Monitor performance and conduct, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards.

  • Oversee the display and organization of products, ensuring shelves and storage areas are well-stocked and neatly arranged.

  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory control, track stock levels, prevent losses and ensure timely restocking.

  • Support in receiving, checking and recording deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality of goods received.

  • Ensure product freshness, proper storage and adherence to health and safety regulations, particularly for frozen food items.

  • Handle customer inquiries, requests or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

  • Support the Manager in monitoring daily sales, preparing simple reports and reconciling cash or POS records.

  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness across all sections of the store.

  • Report operational issues, equipment faults or supply shortages to management immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND, in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in retail, supermarket or store supervision (experience in frozen food or grocery management preferred).

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage staff effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of inventory control, stock monitoring and loss prevention methods.

  • Basic financial understanding, ability to assist in cash handling, expense tracking and report preparation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with POS or inventory software.

  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining store quality standards.
