Job Summary:

Den Structure Tech Limited is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Officer to oversee inventory and supplies for our construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure materials are stored properly, tracked efficiently, and readily available to meet project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

· Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.

· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track the movement of materials in and out of the storage area.

· Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.

Quality Control:

· Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials to verify compliance with quality standards. Assess and document the condition of materials upon receipt and throughout storage.

Supplier Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

·
Reporting:
Generate reports on inventory levels and material quality, providing insights to improve inventory processes and maintain high standards.

·
Compliance:
Ensure all materials comply with industry regulations and company policies related to quality and safety.

·
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse and procurement teams to optimize inventory flow and address quality-related concerns.

Storage Organization:

· Organize and manage the storage area to optimize space and facilitate easy access to materials.

· Implement and maintain labelling and storage systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Order Coordination:

· Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors to forecast material needs and reorder supplies as necessary.

· Prepare and process purchase orders for required materials.

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and returns.

· Promptly report discrepancies and issues to management.

Safety and Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with safety standards in the storage area and on the construction site.

· Follow best practices for handling and storing materials to prevent damage and accidents.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or HND in a related field.

· Previous experience as a storekeeper, preferably in the construction industry, is an advantage.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
