Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, attentive and professional Customer Care Representative to join our team at the Ajah outlet. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and assistance throughout their shopping experience. The role requires strong communication skills, patience and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional and courteous manner.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries in person, via phone or through digital channels.

  • Provide accurate information about products, prices, promotions and availability.

  • Handle customer complaints and issues effectively, escalating unresolved matters to the supervisor or manager.

  • Coordinate with sales and inventory teams to ensure smooth customer transactions.

  • Manage POS transactions and assist customers with payment processes when needed.

  • Record and report customer feedback to help improve service delivery.

  • Support marketing or promotional activities within the outlet as required.

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree in any field.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.

  • Friendly, patient and customer-focused personality.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
