We're looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to lead the development of ReBridge's front-end and back-end systems. You'll work directly with the founder to transform the validated no-code prototype into a scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly product.

This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about building meaningful products that drive impact in Africa's research and education space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the front-end of ReBridge using modern frameworks (React, , or similar).
  • Build and manage the back-end architecture using Supabase, , or PostgreSQL.
  • Integrate key product features:
  • Researcher Profiles and Authentication
  • Funding Hub (grant listings, filtering, and search)
  • Collaboration Hub (project postings, matching, messaging)
  • Mentorship and Community Forums
  • Implement AI-based recommendation features for funding and collaboration matching.
  • Ensure responsive design, scalability, and secure data management.
  • Collaborate with the founder and design team to iterate quickly and improve user experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with live, production-ready projects.
  • Strong proficiency in React, , or (front-end) and , Supabase, or Firebase (back-end).
  • Knowledge of API integrations, authentication systems, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience building SaaS platforms or web applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Bonus: Interest in AI integration, research, or EdTech solutions.
