Job Title: Sales Executive

Industry: Travel & Tours

Reports to: Head of Sales

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, closing deals and contributing to revenue growth through proactive sales efforts. This role requires strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills, as well as an understanding of the company's services and market dynamics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new clients to grow the company's customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using CRM tools
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's travel products and services to effectively present to clients
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service packages with clients to close profitable deals
  • Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and support the finance team in debt recovery efforts
  • Gather and report on competitor activities and market trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or business development role (preferably in the travel, tourism, hospitality or service industry)
  • Experience working with CRM tools and sales tracking systems

Technical Competencies:

  • Sound understanding of sales performance metrics and forecasting
