Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Microsoft 365 Technical Specialist to join our team. The role of the M365 technical specialist is to work closely with our existing Technical Teams and operational business to support our dedicated, security focused M365 platform.

You will also be responsible for M365 administration, supporting our users, training, and the maintenance of the environment.

Qualifications

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration and support of an enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, mobile access, SharePoint (sub sites, lists, libraries, and content) etc.
  • Troubleshoot M365 related issues including connectivity and mobility when alerted by monitoring software or staff.
  • Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving M365-related issues.
  • Execute, manage, and lead users through the on-boarding technical and support process
  • Collaborate with senior IT specialists to implement and maintain security policies, data protection, and access controls within the M365 environment.
  • Training and educating end-users on M365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.)
  • Assist the senior technical staff to create and maintain documentation of Microsoft 365 processes and procedures.
  • Ability to deploy and manage Virtual Machine
  • SQL Server Management

Skills and experience

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and Office 365 suite.
  • Experienced in providing technical support to IT teams and end-user support to individuals.
  • Experience administering M365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint environment.
  • Must pass both UK Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC security clearance – these will be conducted during the probation period and are mandatory for this role.

Desirable qualifications

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Any relevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) would be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₦400,000.00 per month
