Izifin is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems and infrastructure both on-prem and cloud-based while supporting automation, deployment, and scalability across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments
  • Install, upgrade, and manage hardware, software, and virtualized environments, while integrating automation tools
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, prioritize and document resolutions, and assess system impact
  • Perform or delegate regular backups, disaster recovery drills, and implement fail-over procedures
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for code integration, testing, and deployment with rollback strategies
  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions, and contribute to ISO27001 compliance implementation
  • Monitor and improve capacity planning, storage management, and database performance
  • Implement robust system security protocols, access control, and firewall rules
  • Maintain updated technical documentation and infrastructure asset inventory
  • Proactively unblock technical challenges and collaborate with the team to resolve issues efficiently
  • Own and deliver assigned tasks accurately and within estimated timelines
  • Maintain relevant certifications and stay current with evolving technologies (performance reviewed periodically)

Competency Requirements

  • Proven experience (3- 4 years) in a System Admin or DevOps role
  • Strong hands-on experience with virtualization
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure automation tools
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and system monitoring platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and team collaboration skills
  • ISO27001, security, or cloud-related certifications are a strong advantage
