Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Specialist. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating and curating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and monitoring performance metrics. The role involves collaborating with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and enhancing the company's online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop, plan, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms
  • Create multimedia content including captions, graphics, short-form videos, and stories
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity

Social Media Strategy & Growth

  • Implement platform-specific strategies to increase reach, engagement, and follower growth
  • Identify trends and opportunities for brand visibility
  • Conduct competitor and industry research to stay up-to-date with best practices

Community Engagement

  • Monitor comments, messages, and online conversations
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Foster a positive and active community around Aspiralane's mission and initiatives

Campaign & Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and program announcements
  • Collaborate with design, product, operations teams to promote internal activities and updates
  • Assist in planning and executing paid social campaigns (if applicable)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook)
  • Strong copywriting, creative writing, and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)
  • Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools are a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Passion for digital media, youth engagement, and the education/tech space
