Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Creative Director to lead our creative department and drive the artistic and visual direction of Santabella Music Empire ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of music, brand storytelling, visual design, and audience engagement. You will oversee the development of all creative assets — from music videos and album artwork to brand campaigns and digital content — ensuring that every piece aligns with the label's artistic identity and long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the creative vision, branding, and visual identity for the label and its artists.
• Supervise and guide all creative projects including music videos, photo shoots, cover art, social media campaigns, stage designs, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate closely with artists, A&R teams, marketing, and management to ensure cohesive brand representation across all channels.
• Conceptualize and direct music video productions, live performances, and other visual storytelling projects.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and provide art direction for all visual content and campaigns.
• Manage relationships with photographers, videographers, stylists, designers, and other creative partners.
• Review and approve creative deliverables to ensure high-quality standards and brand consistency.
• Identify and set creative trends that align with both Afrobeat culture and international market expectations.
• Oversee the creative budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects.
• Supervise and guide social media managers activities
• Inspire and mentor the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a creative leadership role within the music, entertainment, or media industry.
• Proven experience in music video direction, photography, social media content, brand strategy, and creative project management.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns, visuals, or music-related projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate artistic concepts into strategic marketing and branding outcomes.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital media trends, social platforms, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of the Afrobeats and contemporary African music scene.
• Experience working with artists and entertainment brands.
• Familiarity with design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Strong network within the creative and entertainment industry (directors, stylists, designers, etc.).
