Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager who is a Chartered Accountant to lead and oversee all financial activities across a dynamic and fast-growing multi-business organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, budgeting, and strategic financial management, with proven experience across hospitality, entertainment, and QSR environments.

This role requires a hands-on finance leader capable of managing complex financial structures, multi-entity reporting, cost controls, and operational finance in high-volume, customer-driven businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations across multiple business units and legal entities.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting for multi-business operations.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to timelines.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Implement strong cost-control measures, particularly in food & beverage costing,inventory management, labor costs, and operational expenses.
  • Support pricing strategies and margin optimization for hospitality and QSR operations.

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
  • Manage internal and external audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial governance.

Taxation & Treasury

  • Oversee tax planning, filings, and compliance (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and treasury risks where applicable.

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

  • Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Provide financial insights for expansion, new outlets, capital investments, and acquisitions.
  • Support operational teams with financial analysis and performance metrics.

Systems, Process Improvement & Leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.
  • Oversee ERP/accounting systems implementation or optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams across the organization.
  • Establish best-practice financial policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) — mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 10–15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience within thriving businesses.
  • Proven experience managing multiple businesses or group structures.
  • Strong industry experience in hospitality, entertainment, and/or QSR environments is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance teams.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of hospitality and QSR financial metrics (food cost %, labor cost %, gross margins, inventory turns).
  • Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
