Role Overview

We are seeking a
Portfolio Manager

to lead and grow strategic partnerships and collaborate with experienced professionals. The role ensures products are managed as business investments, delivering on strategic objectives, market fit, and financial targets. You will act as the strategic owner and bridge between product teams, corporate leadership, and stakeholders, managing both the operational health and commercial growth of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategic and commercial performance of the assigned product portfolio within the company's Ventures.
  • Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the portfolio, including driving revenue growth, cost management, investment Return on Investment (ROI), and overall venture profitability.
  • Serve as the primary strategic owner, aligning product roadmaps with corporate strategy, market opportunities, and financial goals.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance metrics, strategic risks, and growth opportunities, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Support teams to ensure successful product delivery, launch, and ongoing operational excellence.
  • Oversee resource and investment allocation across the portfolio to maximize strategic impact and financial returns.
  • Drive comprehensive portfolio reporting on strategic progress, financial performance, market adoption, and product health.
  • Lead strategic initiatives for portfolio growth, including market expansion, feature prioritization, and continuous improvement of product-market fit.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews with CIL leadership and key stakeholders to present performance, strategic alignment, risks, and investment recommendations.
  • Maintain oversight of all portfolio documentation, including business cases, product charters, performance dashboards, and strategic plans.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in portfolio management, product management, or a commercial leadership role within a technology or venture-focused organization.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, investment ROI, and financial forecasting.
  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio's P&L and delivering measurable revenue and ROI growth.
  • Demonstrable experience in aligning product roadmaps with corporate strategy and financial targets.
  • Experience in conducting strategic reviews and presenting performance and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with operational excellence standards (e.g., meeting uptime and performance targets) for live products

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required.
  • A master's degree in a relevant discipline is often highly desirable.
