Job Summary

The Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer – Microsoft Solutions is responsible for driving technical sales engagements, solution design, and customer enablement for Microsoft technologies. This includes Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related security and collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team to identify business challenges, design tailored solutions, and support customers through the technical stages of the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales & Solution Design

·      Lead pre-sales activities for all Microsoft solution opportunities, including requirement gathering, solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.

·      Support the sales team in positioning Microsoft products and solutions effectively to new and existing clients.

·      Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Microsoft solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Security).

·      Work closely with Microsoft Partner Managers and Distributors to align Ha-Shem's business objectives with Microsoft's incentives and programs.

·      Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and contribute to achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Technical Solutioning

·      Translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.

·      Design and present solution architectures that address customers' needs, including cost, scalability, security, and compliance.

·      Create high-quality technical documentation, proposals, and presentations tailored to customer environments.

·      Stay current with Microsoft's latest solution offerings, licensing, and deployment models.

Customer Engagement and Support

·      Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept sessions, and workshops for customers.

·      Collaborate with the technical delivery team to ensure successful project handover and implementation.

·      Provide technical guidance and respond to RFPs/RFQs with well-structured and compelling proposals.

·      Build long-term trusted relationships with customers by serving as a solution advisor.

Internal Collaboration

·      Work with the marketing team to create solution briefs, sales kits, and campaigns to drive Microsoft solution adoption.

·      Train and mentor internal sales staff on Microsoft offerings and technical differentiators.

·      Coordinate with the finance and procurement teams on licensing and pricing structures.

Qualifications and Experience

·      Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

·      Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, or Solution Architect role within an IT or Microsoft Partner environment.

·      Proven experience with Microsoft Cloud Solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform).

·      Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing, deployment models, and partner ecosystem.

·      Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Microsoft 365 Expert / Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certification is a plus.

·      Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
