The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer
needs. This role involves prospecting, client engagement, technical consultation, and solution development,
with a focus on driving sales in the automation, engineering, and industrial solutions space.
Role Description
Sales Development & Client Engagement
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in line with Greenpeg's core offerings.
· Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and technical scoping with clients.
· Prepare and deliver tailored technical/commercial proposals and presentations.
· Act as a key point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and post-sales cycle.
Technical Support & Solution Customisation
· Collaborate with engineering, OEMs, and internal teams to design appropriate solutions.
· Translate client needs into technical specifications that align with Greenpeg's capabilities.
· Support system demonstrations, pilot installations, and proof-of-concept activities.
· Provide technical clarifications during bidding and procurement processes.
Quotation & Documentation
· Assist in developing cost estimates, pricing, and timelines for proposals.
· Ensure that all proposals are technically sound, compliant, and commercially viable.
· Maintain detailed records of quotes, customer correspondence, and feedback.
Relationship & Account Management
· Maintain relationships with key client personnel, engineers, project managers, procurement leads.
· Follow up on active proposals, convert leads, and assist in after-sales support.
· Gather market intelligence and competitor analysis to refine offerings.
Qualifications
· B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering · 2 – 4 years in technical sales, automation, or solution development, with a focus on beverage or bottling manufacturing.

Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, drives, instrumentation, or similar technologies is a plus.
· Commercial awareness and pricing discipline.
