Job Description
The Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical and system solution support to the Sales team while ensuring efficient service delivery to customers. The role involves engaging in the research, design, and implementation of innovative solutions that reinforce Linkorgnet's position as a market leader. He will collaborate closely with OEMs and internal teams to provide accurate and timely responses to RFP and RFIs, ensuring that all technical submissions meet customer requirements and Linkorgnet's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the sales team in identifying customer requirements and proposing appropriate solutions
Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and quotes
Answer technical questions from customers and address their concerns
Design and propose IT infrastructure architectures, including hardware sizing, network topology, virtualization environments, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technical solution write-ups, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BoM).
Collaborate with engineering teams leads to customize solutions that align with customer needs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and distributors for solution pricing and support.
Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and product developments
Liase with 3rd party vendors to design solutions that meets customer requirements.
Providing technical training to the sales team and customers
Ensure up-to-date compliance with OEMs requirements and portal management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in pre-sales and technical sales in preferable ISP, Telecoms environment
Strong understanding of network designs using RF and fiber deployments
Strong understanding of security solutions
Strong understading of IT infrastucture and IP technologies
Relevant technical certifications such as CCNP.
Proven track record in supporting sales teams with complex technical solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Experience preparing and delivering client-facing proposals and designs.
Ability to translate customer requirements into technical and business-oriented solutions.
