About the Project:

We're launching a new wines and spirits business
and need an experienced Shopify expert to help set up our online store from scratch. The ideal candidate will handle the full setup — from account creation to final launch — ensuring everything is fully functional, visually appealing, and optimized for sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure a new Shopify account (including store settings and domain connection)
  • Design and customize the Shopify theme to reflect the brand's identity
  • Create and organize product categories for wines, spirits, and accessories
  • Upload products with descriptions, pricing, and images
  • Integrate secure payment gateways (including Nigerian-friendly options)
  • Configure shipping, tax, and store policies
  • Set up essential Shopify apps (email, analytics, reviews, etc.)
  • Test all website features for usability and responsiveness across devices
  • Provide a brief handover or guide for managing the store post-launch

Requirements:

  • Proven experience building and launching Shopify stores (portfolio required)
  • Strong understanding of Shopify themes, apps, and integrations
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and conversion optimization
  • Ability to meet the 2-week delivery timeline
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills (Preferred):
