About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Engineer (Level 2) to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in designing electrical installations, prepare workshop and as-built drawings, and provide on-site technical support. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer with foundational experience to grow within a professional and safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in designing electrical installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

· Prepare workshop drawings for ongoing projects.

· Prepare as-built drawings for completed projects.

· Develop distribution board schedules and perform load calculations.

· Carry out preliminary quantification of required materials.

· Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for completed projects.

· Attend site meetings and provide technical support as required.

· Ensure all electrical works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the project engineer or supervisor.

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities

· Follow all company health and safety procedures and policies.

· Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety signage.

· Report hazards, defects, incidents, and near misses immediately.

· Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills.

· Promote environmental awareness, waste reduction, and energy efficiency on site.

Skills & Abilities

· Good teamwork and communication skills.

· Ability to interpret and develop electrical drawings accurately.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

· Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD software.

· Understanding of basic electrical design principles and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

· 2–4 years of relevant experience in electrical design or construction projects.

· Experience with workshop drawing preparation and site coordination is an advantage.
