Junior Quantity Surveyor

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the QS team in estimating, budgeting, and cost monitoring to ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently and cost-effectively. Working closely with contractors, architects, and engineers, this role involves assisting with tender preparation, cost analysis, feasibility studies, and progress documentation while learning from senior team members.

You will help track project changes, update budgets, identify financial or construction risks, and provide regular reports on cost and progress. The role also includes assisting in valuing completed work, arranging supplier and subcontractor payments, and ensuring all activities align with the organization's high-quality and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years' experience in the construction/engineering industry (preferably MEP, Firefighting, HVAC, or Plumbing projects).
  • Membership or eligibility for NIQS or QSRBN is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Good understanding of construction drawings and costing principles.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
