Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects—from initial estimates to final account settlement. This role involves preparing tender and contract documents, conducting feasibility studies, analyzing costs, and advising on procurement strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will undertake cost analysis for maintenance and repair works, identify and manage commercial risks, allocate work to subcontractors, and prepare costings for tenders. You will also analyze project outcomes, prepare detailed progress reports, value completed work, and arrange payments in line with contractual terms. A sound understanding of building contracts, industry standards, and safety regulations is essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the construction/engineering industry (preferably in MEP, Firefighting, HVAC, or Plumbing projects).
  • Membership with professional bodies such as NIQS or QSRBN is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant industry software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
