Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer to drive the next phase of our growth.

This role involves end-to-end feature ownership, with a primary focus on architecting and

implementing post-MVP features crucial to business expansion, including multi-currency

support, new payment product integrations, and scalable financial infrastructure.

Phase I Key Responsibilities:

• Integrity audit and code revalidation:
• Set up the complete development environment locally to run and test the app as it
• exists.
• Perform a line-by-line review of the entire codebase, focusing specifically on all
• financial logic, payment processing, database access (APIs), and user
• authentication methods.
• Proactively search for backdoors, obfuscated logic, hardcoded credentials,
• unauthorized data transmission, or logic that diverts funds or sensitive
• information away from the intended path.
• Identify common security vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF,
• insecure API endpoints).
• Provide a comprehensive Audit Report detailing all findings, including exact filepaths and lines of code for every identified security flaw or suspicious function
• Work to remove or rewrite all suspicious code, applying best-practice securitystandards to the affected areas.
• Review and understand the existing codebase (frontend and backend).
• Develop scalable frontend and backend components of the mobile/web application
• Build core features of a reward system, rewards tracking, and user incentives into the app
• Build core features of an admin system into the app
• Ensure fraud prevention and secure handling of incentive-related transactions
• Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., currency exchange rates, KYC/AML services, wallets)
• Work closely with the Product Designer, Technology Director to build and refine the user experience
• Maintain code quality, security, and documentation standards
• Maintenance of the mobile application to ensure utmost availability, performance, security, support that ensures the functionality, uptime and operational reliability of the platform's features, systems, overall architecture and services provided to clients.
• Undertake and execute technical tasks, ad-hoc projects, and emergency fixes across the full stack as priorities shift.
• Contribute to team enablement by onboarding new employees, including setting up necessary system access and accounts (logins, email) and performing regular maintenance checks.
• Act as the point of contact for internal technology and software issues, providing technical support for minor and complex issues.

Phase II - Key Responsibilities:

Product Expansion & Feature Development

• Financial Product Ownership: Take ownership of the full development lifecycle (design,

build, test, and deploy) for major post-MVP features, such as adding new global

currencies, integrating with new international payment gateways (APIs), or building out

new financial products (e.g., wallet functionality, loyalty programs).

• Scalability & Performance: Design and implement highly scalable, high-availability

backend services and APIs to seamlessly handle increasing transaction volume and data

complexity as we expand our feature set and user base.

• Front-End Expansion: Collaborate with Product and UX/UI teams to design and

implement responsive, compliant user interfaces (both web and mobile) required for the

deployment of complex new features and settings (e.g., new transfer types or financial

dashboards).

• Technology Evaluation: Research, prototype, and recommend new technologies and

third-party services necessary to support the expanded product roadmap (e.g., integrating

with a new global banking API or fraud detection system).

• Maintenance of the mobile application to ensure utmost availability, performance,

security, support that ensures the functionality, uptime and operational reliability of the

platform's features, systems, overall architecture and services provided to clients.

• Undertake and execute technical tasks, ad-hoc projects, and emergency fixes across the

full stack as priorities shift.

Security and Compliance (Crucial)

• Ensure all new feature development, especially those related to currency handling and

transaction processing, is implemented with security-first best practices and strict

adherence to AML/KYC regulations and financial data protection standards.

• Develop robust testing and monitoring infrastructure to guarantee the reliability and

integrity of all features, particularly for real-time financial data feeds like exchange rate

updates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a full stack or mobile developer (React Native, Flutter, or similar)

• Backend experience with , Django, or Laravel

• Familiarity with cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Firebase)

• Experience with mobile app deployment and CI/CD tools is a plus
  • Fintech or secure transaction handling experience is an asset

Work Requirements / Expectations

• Reliable Internet Access: Must have consistent and reliable data or Wi-Fi access to

ensure seamless communication and system access during working hours.

• Video Meeting Participation: Required to participate in bi-weekly (twice a week)

video calls with the team and leadership to provide project updates, discuss progress, and

collaborate on technical decisions.
