About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer (Level 1) to assist in design preparation, drafting, and on-site support for mechanical projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers to execute engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with approved designs, standards, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing mechanical drawings and related documentation.
  • Support site supervision and monitoring of mechanical installation activities.
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Prepare and file project-related reports and inspection records.
  • Provide technical assistance to supervisors and technicians on site.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the Mechanical Engineer or Project Manager.

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities

  • Follow all company health and safety policies and site regulations.
  • Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report hazards, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Support environmental awareness, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.

Skills & Abilities

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to interpret basic mechanical drawings.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with site installation standards and mechanical components.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
