About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in IT or technology-driven operations. The ideal candidate must be strategic, analytical, and operationally excellent, with proven leadership experience managing diverse business units and driving sustainable growth.

The COO will work closely with the Managing Director/CEO to translate strategic vision into operational results while overseeing daily operations across multiple subsidiaries and departments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Provide strategic oversight and operational direction for all business units.
  • Support the CEO in business planning, strategy execution, and performance management.
  • Lead operational transformation, process optimization, and innovation initiatives.
  • Track industry and IT trends to improve organizational competitiveness.

Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, performance standards, and KPIs.
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation and operational discipline across teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and service quality.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Work with Finance on budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Monitor financial performance, cost efficiency, and operational accountability.
  • Evaluate departmental results and recommend corrective actions.

People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead and mentor departmental heads and cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
  • Represent the company in key meetings and strategic engagements when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or professional certifications are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8–12 years' experience in senior management roles, experience in IT or a technology-driven industry is mandatory.
  • Strong background in operations, business strategy, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple business units.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking.
  • Must be between 35 and 45 years.
