About the Role

Afrihood
is seeking a dynamic, confident, and highly knowledgeable real estate and infrastructure professional who is exceptional on camera and passionate about teaching the public how cities, investments, and communities are built.

In this role, you will be the public face and trusted voice of Afrihood, creating powerful educational content that positions us as Africa's #1 platform for real estate and infrastructure knowledge.

You will cover the entire lifecycle of property and infrastructure — investment, development, construction, technology, financing, maintenance, community building, and more — breaking down complex ideas into simple, credible, and inspiring content.

Your mission is to show millions how real estate and infrastructure work together to shape cities, create wealth, and transform African communities.

Key Objectives

Establish Afrihood as the leading educational authority on real estate & infrastructure in Africa.

Educate everyday people, investors, and professionals on how to invest, develop, and build smarter.

Host high-impact live and recorded interviews with top industry experts.

Translate the most technical real estate & infrastructure topics into clear, relatable, practical content.

Build a massive community that trusts Afrihood for accurate, actionable real estate and infrastructure insights.

Core Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Public Engagement

Produce daily/weekly high-quality content across:

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Afrihood Blog.

Host 3–5 live sessions weekly, covering:

Market updates

Investment clinics

Infrastructure insights

Q&A sessions

Project site tours

Create engaging on-site videos showing real development and infrastructure processes in action.

1. Expert Interviews & Thought Leadership

Conduct live and remote interviews with key players across the value chain:

Real estate & infrastructure investors

Urban planners & master developers

PropTech & InfraTech innovators

Engineers (roads, water, power, drainage, structures)

Bankers, DFIs & infrastructure finance experts

Facility & estate managers

Government agencies & regulators

Your job is to extract expert insights and translate them into everyday understanding.

1. Core Knowledge Areas You Will Teach

How infrastructure drives real estate value

Real estate & infrastructure investment models (ROI, IRR, PPPs, blended finance)

Off-plan vs completed properties, and infrastructure readiness

Financing options (mortgages, bonds, diaspora funding, partnerships)

Integrated community & lifestyle estate development

Smart cities, PropTech, InfraTech, blockchain land titles, AI valuation, IoT buildings

Infrastructure & estate maintenance strategies

Emerging cities, location analysis & infrastructure-led urban growth

You don't need to be an engineer — you need to understand how the industry works and how to explain it simply.

1. Brand & Community Building

Build a massive, loyal community of buyers, investors, developers, and policymakers.

Convert educational content into qualified leads for Afrihood projects.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and project teams to align content with core business objectives.

Represent Afrihood on camera, on-site, and across digital platforms with clarity, authority, and authenticity.

Who We're Looking For

Required Experience (4–8 Years)

Background in ANY of the following areas:

Real estate or infrastructure investment

Property development with infrastructure integration

Infrastructure project coordination or finance

PropTech / InfraTech

Community or master-planned estate development

Real estate sales with strong technical/infrastructure knowledge

Facility or infrastructure asset management

Core Competencies

Deep understanding of how real estate and infrastructure intersect

Strong storytelling and communication skills

Very natural and confident on camera (authenticity is crucial)

Ability to simplify technical topics for everyday Nigerians

Strong interviewing skills and conversation flow

Active personal social media profile with real engagement (big advantage)

Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, VN) or fast learner

Education (Flexible)

Bachelor's/HND in:

Estate Management

Urban & Regional Planning

Civil Engineering

Economics, Geography, Finance

Architecture or related fields

(Helpful but NOT compulsory if you have strong real-world experience.)

Preferred (Bonus)

Existing audience or content portfolio

Experience hosting live shows, webinars, or podcasts

Certifications (NIESV, REDAN, COREN, NITP, PMP, etc.)
