We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Investment Associate

Job Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid / Remote)

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a driven, analytical, and curious Investment Associate to join our growing investment team.
  • In this role, you will work closely with partners and portfolio companies, gaining experience across the full venture investment lifecycle - from sourcing and screening deals to conducting deep due diligence, building financial models, and supporting startups post-investment.
  • If you're excited by African tech, comfortable working across multiple sectors, and ready to support high-impact decisions this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate early-stage startups across emerging sectors
  • Analyze business models, product-market fit, and founder quality
  • Conduct financial analysis and build models to assess funding and exit potential
  • Write high-quality investment memos and present findings to the team
  • Support due diligence processes: market sizing, customer interviews, competitor benchmarking
  • Track market trends and maintain relationships within the startup ecosystem
  • Help monitor portfolio company performance and add strategic value

What we're looking for

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in VC, investment banking, consulting, or startups
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of early-stage startup metrics and cap tables
  • Financial modeling proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Interest in African markets and startup ecosystems
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience creating or reviewing investment memos
