About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused
Trust Advisor
to manage and grow trust relationships, ensuring clients' financial goals and estate planning needs are effectively met. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice on trust administration, estate planning, and fiduciary services while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of trust and fiduciary accounts, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
- Advise clients on trust structures, estate planning strategies, investment options, and asset protection.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, beneficiaries, and professional partners.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and investment teams to provide holistic financial solutions.
- Conduct periodic reviews of trust accounts to ensure objectives are aligned with client intentions and market conditions.
- Prepare and present reports, statements, and documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand trust relationships and generate new business through referrals and networking.
- Stay up to date with changes in trust laws, financial regulations, and estate planning trends.
- Provide exceptional client service and act as a trusted advisor for complex financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree or certification such as STEP, CFA, or CFP is an advantage).
- Minimum of
4–7 years of experience
in trust administration, private banking, or wealth management. - In-depth knowledge of
trust law, estate planning, and fiduciary principles
. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and client confidentiality.
- Proven ability to manage high-net-worth client relationships effectively.
