Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

ipNX Nigeria | Victoria Island, Lagos | Reports directly to CFO

We're on a mission to build one of Africa's sharpest finance functions and we need a world-class FP&A leader to make it happen.

This is the ultimate business-partnering role:

you'll sit at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, turning data into decisions that drive profitable growth at one of Nigeria's fastest-growing fibre and telecom companies.

You'll own the full planning cycle, challenge the status quo, and be the commercial co-pilot the CEO and Exco trust when making big bets.

What You'll Drive
- Annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans & scenario modeling

  • Monthly/quarterly performance deep-dives with clear variance stories & action plans

  • Executive dashboards, profitability analysis (by product, project, customer segment)

  • Cost optimization programs that deliver measurable bottom-line impact

  • Capital allocation, pricing strategy, investment appraisals & ROI tracking

  • Automation & upgrading of FP&A tech stack (Power BI, Anaplan, advanced ERP modules)

  • A high-performing team of analysts who think like business owners

Your expected qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACA/ACCA) + Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics

  • MBA/MSc is a strong plus

  • 8–10+ years in progressive FP&A, strategic finance or corporate finance roles

  • Proven pedigree from Banking, Investment Management, Big 4 TS, or high-growth Telecom/Tech (Telecom experience = huge advantage)

  • Master-level financial modeling & Excel (you still love building models yourself)

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and modern BI tools

  • You turn complex data into simple, compelling board-level stories

  • Natural influencer who builds trust with sales, ops, and exec teams

  • Obsessed with accuracy, speed, and continuous improvement
