is seeking
a versatile
Data Analyst / Power Platform Developer

to design, build, and maintain a lightweight database solution using Microsoft Lists, fully integrated with Power BI, Power Automate, and Excel. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with hands-on Power Platform experience, enabling the development of scalable data structures, automated workflows, and intuitive reporting dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build structured data solutions using Microsoft Lists, including schema design, lookup relationships, field types, governance standards, and data validation rules.
  • Develop data input forms (Power Apps or customized list forms) that support efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Create and maintain automated Power Automate workflows for notifications, approvals, data processing, and system integrations.
  • Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, leveraging strong data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
  • Perform routine and ad-hoc data analysis, including data cleansing, enrichment, and interpretation using Excel, Power Query, or Power BI.
  • Implement and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across Lists, workflows, and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions aligned with organizational needs.
  • Document system architecture, data flows, report logic, database schemas, and development standards.
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of List-based data structures, optimizing performance and simplifying future enhancements.

Additional Database Development Responsibilities

  • Develop logical and physical data models within Microsoft Lists, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility of information.
  • Establish and maintain naming conventions, field definitions, metadata standards, and list relationships across the solution.
  • Troubleshoot and refine the database architecture as business needs evolve, including restructuring lists, relationships, or flows when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, report development, and database design.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
  • Microsoft Lists
  • Power BI (DAX, modeling, visualization)
  • Power Automate (flows, logic, integration)
  • Power Apps (nice to have but strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills: PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, data cleansing, and modeling.
  • Understanding of database fundamentals, including normalization, relationships, schemas, and data lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language.
