*Job Title: Head of Marketing*

*Job summary:*

The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing SmartCity Plc's overall marketing and brand strategy.

The role focuses on driving brand visibility, generating qualified leads, managing strategic campaigns, and strengthening the company's market position as an industry leader in smart infrastructure and lifestyle solutions.

This is a senior leadership position for a strategic yet hands-on professional who can integrate sales performance, marketing leadership, and customer engagement to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.

As the Head of Marketing, you will oversee Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, ensuring alignment between business strategy, market positioning, and execution excellence.

*Core Responsibilities:*

*Strategic Leadership*

  1. Develop and implement an integrated Sales and Marketing Strategy that aligns with corporate objectives.

  2. Collaborate with the Executive Team on market positioning, pricing, and competitive strategy.

  3. Lead brand positioning and value communication across all platforms.

  4. Provide actionable market intelligence on trends, competition, and emerging opportunities.

  5. Oversee market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform product development and campaign decisions.

*Sales Management*

  1. Own annual and quarterly revenue targets across all business units.

  2. Build and manage a high-performing sales pipeline through disciplined forecasting and opportunity management.

  3. Lead key enterprise deals, oversee negotiations, and maintain strong C-suite customer relationships.

*Marketing & Brand Development*

  1. Champion the brand's growth through content marketing, digital campaigns, and thought leadership.

  2. Oversee marketing initiatives - webinars, product launches, workshops, and client events.

  3. Manage corporate communications, public relations, and media engagements to ensure consistent brand voice and visibility.

  4. Measure and optimize campaign ROI using data analytics tools.

*Lead Generation*

  1. Design and implement data-driven lead generation campaigns to support the sales team and achieve sales targets.

  2. Develop marketing funnels, track campaign performance, and optimize conversion rates.

  3. Collaborate with the sales team to create marketing collateral and sales enablement tools.

*Budget Management*

  1. Develop and manage the marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.

  2. Measure performance using KPIs and regularly report outcomes to management.

*Reporting and Governance*

  1. Report directly to the Chairman and group COO with weekly and monthly dashboards covering pipeline, revenue, and marketing metrics.

  2. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, data protection regulations (NDPR/GDPR), and ethical standards.

*Requirements:*

  1. A strategic thinker with proven execution capability.

  2. Minimum of 10 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the Real Estate, Financial, Infrastructure or Consulting sector.

  3. Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and an ability to close complex enterprise deals.

  4. Demonstrated success in driving double-digit revenue growth.

  5. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

  6. Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and performance analytics.

Salary: Competitive based on industry standard.
