Job Summary

TroVest is seeking highly motivated and knowledgeable Group Treasury Sales Officers to drive the sales of treasury and investment products including fixed deposits, commercial papers, bonds, and other liquidity management solutions. The ideal candidate has strong relationship management skills and understands financial markets, treasury operations, and investment instruments.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Acquisition & Sales

  • Drive sales of treasury and investment products across retail, HNIs, SMEs, and institutional clients.
  • Acquire and manage clients who can place fixed deposits, commercial papers, asset management products, and liquidity instruments.
  • Build a pipeline of high-value prospects for treasury products.

2. Relationship & Portfolio Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to increase wallet share.
  • Provide market updates, interest rate insights, and product recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct presentations and financial advisory sessions to deepen client engagement.

3. Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge

  • Keep track of market trends, competitor rates, and treasury market movements.
  • Provide feedback to the treasury and product teams to refine offerings.
  • Stay updated on CBN policies, liquidity ratios, and market liquidity dynamics.

4. Deal Structuring & Execution

  • Work closely with the treasury team to structure bespoke investment solutions for clients.
  • Ensure timely documentation, onboarding, and execution of treasury transactions.
  • Monitor maturities, rollovers, and reinvestment opportunities.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and client activity summaries.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, KYC requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Update CRM systems with accurate client interactions and deal information.

RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • B.Sc/HND in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 2–5 years experience in treasury sales, investment sales, fixed deposit mobilization, or financial advisory.
  • Experience in asset management, commercial banking, microfinance, investment banking, or fintech is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and treasury instruments.
  • Proven track record of meeting deposit or treasury sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage high-value clients (HNIs, corporates, institutions).
  • Strong analytical mindset and client-centric approach.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly/quarterly deposit targets achieved.
  • Growth in HNI and institutional client base.
  • Volume of treasury-based transactions closed.
  • Client retention and reinvestment rate.
  • Portfolio growth and maturity rollover success rate.
