, is expanding its corporate finance team. They are seeking an experienced professional as
Head, Corporate Finance,

to drive strategic financial initiatives and enhance their growth trajectory. 

Job Objectives

  • Lead the Corporate Finance unit, ensuring the successful execution of expansion Projects (Mergers & Acquisitions, M&A, and other corporate finance transactions).
  • Oversee capital restructuring, financial advisory, and investment analysis to align with the bank's strategic goals.
  • Drive financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction structuring to maximize shareholder value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business expansion strategies, including target identification, valuation, and deal structuring.
  • Lead capital raising initiatives, including debt issuance, equity financing, and other investment options.
  • Oversee financial modeling, risk assessment, and feasibility analysis of strategic transactions.
  • Engage with external advisors, investment banks, and regulatory bodies to facilitate transactions.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management and other stakeholders on potential acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
  • Manage stakeholder relations, including investors, board members, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee post-capitalization integration processes and performance tracking.
  • Other responsibilities that may be assigned by ED, COIO.

Education Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CFA, ACCA, ICAN, or other relevant finance certifications preferred.
  • MBA/MSC in a relevant discipline is an added advantage
