We are looking for a Communications & Content Associate to help shape how our story, insights, and products are communicated to the world.

Role Overview

This role owns content, storytelling, and marketing communications across all Slate Intelligence Group brands. You will be responsible for crafting clear, compelling narratives across social media, newsletters, and other communication channels, ensuring consistency, credibility, and impact.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is both a strong writer and a strategic thinker, with an eye for design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow Slate Intelligence subsidiaries' social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and others as relevant).
  • Write high-quality copy and content for posts, announcements, thought leadership, and campaigns.
  • Own the planning, writing, and distribution of newsletters across board.
  • Translate complex topics (agriculture, climate, data, impact) into clear, engaging, and human content.
  • Support other marketing and communications needs, including announcements, brand updates, partnerships, and launches.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and narrative across Farmslate, Aquaslate, and Ecoslate.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align communications with strategy and positioning.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills (this is non-negotiable).
  • Experience managing social media and newsletters for a brand, startup, or organization.
  • Ability to think strategically about content, not just post, but why and for whom.
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands under one group identity.
  • Interest in or familiarity with agriculture, climate, sustainability, or impact-driven work is a strong plus.
  • Added Advantage: Ability to create basic designs or visuals (Canva, Figma, Adobe, etc.).
  • Added Advantage: Experience with content calendars, analytics, or email marketing tools.
