Job Overview

The Training Officer enhances the capability and performance of telecom retail staff through structured product and service training. The role drives improved sales outcomes by ensuring staff possess strong customer-facing skills, technical product knowledge, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver regional telecom training programs, including new hire onboarding, product knowledge training (devices, accessories, services), and capacity-building for existing staff.
  • Conduct centralized training sessions, on-site coaching, or virtual training based on store needs and product rollout requirements.
  • Support new product launches by training staff on features, selling points, and customer-engagement techniques.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, role-plays, store performance tracking, and feedback collected after sessions.
  • Identify capability gaps, provide actionable feedback to sales managers, and adjust training plans to improve overall team performance.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering training within telecoms, FMCG, or retail environments.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and evaluation skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer service and retail sales dynamics.

Job Type: Full-time
