Key responsibilities

  • Manage inventory: Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods, materials, or merchandise.
  • Maintain records: Accurately record all stock movements and maintain detailed inventory records using computerized systems.
  • Conduct audits: Perform regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile them with computer-generated reports, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Track and report: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking, and prepare reports on stock levels, trends, and discrepancies for management.
  • Process shipments: Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing shipments, checking received goods against purchase orders.
  • Improve processes: Develop or improve inventory management procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage stock quality: Conduct quality checks on incoming goods and ensure stock is stored correctly to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate: Work with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure inventory needs are met and shipments are timely.
  • Handle obsolete stock: Identify and manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory, making recommendations for disposal or clearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₦150,000.00 per month
