Location: Ikeja, Lagos (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ₦500,000 Monthly

Reports To: Executive Management

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail–oriented and experienced Accountant/Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the organization. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, account reconciliation, and ensuring adherence to financial policies. The ideal candidate must be analytical, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple company accounts seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial activities including accounts payable, receivables, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Maintain and manage multiple company accounts across various projects/entities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including PAYE, VAT, WHT, Company Income Tax (CIT), and other regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and financial partners.
  • Develop financial policies and controls to improve accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform cash flow analysis and prepare reports for management decision making.
  • Oversee payroll preparation and ensure accuracy in employee compensation structure.
  • Support procurement approvals, vendor reconciliation, and expense management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years experience in accounting or financial management
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience managing multiple business accounts or multi-entity finance structure (advantage).
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
