Job description:

The Spa Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing staff performance, maintaining service quality, and driving business growth. This role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency to achieve revenue and service targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Management

  • Oversee daily spa operations to ensure a smooth, professional, and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and ambiance across all spa areas.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, client flow, and service delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure all spa equipment, products, and facilities are well-maintained and fully functional.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives an outstanding spa experience.
  • Handle client feedback, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and referrals.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise spa therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development sessions.
  • Create staff schedules and monitor attendance and productivity.
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and customer-focused work culture.

Business Development & Marketing

  • Collaborate with management to create and implement spa promotions, loyalty programs, and seasonal offers.
  • Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and ensure proper product usage and control.
  • Track sales, service performance, and client metrics to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and corporate clients.

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Manage spa budgets, daily cash reports, and expense control.
  • Prepare operational and performance reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in spa, salon, or wellness center management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in spa management software and MS Office tools.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, beauty therapies, and wellness products is an advantage.
