The Business/Entrepreneurial Development Assistant will support all aspects of the business development lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal development by supporting specific pursuits.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on topics of interest that advance our business and mission, including clients, thematic work, competitor and partner analyses, and geographic areas.
  • Monitor potential opportunities, update go/no-go reporting and ongoing project status
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and determine other market factors
  • Support writing of proposal sections, including market analysis, marketing/pricing plan, and other supporting documentation; perform quality-control editing and proofreading
  • Prepare and send presentations to clients and relevant stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of other editing and publication software
