We are seeking a knowledgeable and performance-driven
Technical Sales Executive (Energy Solutions)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience in the energy sector and a solid understanding of energy systems, renewable technologies, and power solutions. You will work closely with clients to recommend the best energy solutions that meet their operational and sustainability needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy sector (renewables, power systems, industrial energy solutions, etc.).
- Understand client energy needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions such as solar systems, inverters, batteries, power backup systems, or energy-efficiency products.
- Conduct site assessments, load evaluations, and feasibility analysis for client projects.
- Deliver professional product demos, technical presentations, and solution proposals.
- Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to customize solutions and ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare quotations, bids, and technical/commercial proposals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and new energy technologies to support strategic decision-making.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in
technical sales within the energy or power solutions industry
. - Strong understanding of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries, power backup solutions, or related energy technologies.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, load calculations, and energy consumption data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple and convincing terms.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Physics, or a related field is an added advantage.
