About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across multiple construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction logistics, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, inventory management, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics operations for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Oversee storage and distribution of construction materials while minimizing costs and delays.

Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and transport teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all logistics operations.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and supplier transactions.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Handle transportation schedules, route planning, and fleet management for site deliveries.

Identify and resolve logistical issues affecting project timelines.

Establish relationships with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to negotiate cost-effective solutions.

Monitor and analyze logistics performance to improve operational effectiveness

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics within the construction industry.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CLP, PMP in Logistics, or any supply chain certification) are an added advantage.

Strong understanding of construction logistics, procurement, and inventory management.

Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory tracking systems.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple project logistics simultaneously.
