The Front of House Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the hotel's front desk, lobby, and guest service areas to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for all guests. The role requires a hands-on leader who delivers outstanding customer service, manages staff performance, and upholds the brand's service standards.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and able to multitask while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

  • Supervise front desk operations, ensuring all guests are greeted warmly and efficiently checked in/out.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Anticipate guest needs and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Oversee handling of reservations, room assignments, and special requests.
  • Ensure the lobby and front-of-house areas are always clean, welcoming, and well-presented.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and train front desk agents and concierge
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage shift scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to service standards.
  • Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with the team.

Operational & Administrative Duties

  • Monitor daily room occupancy, arrivals, departures, and VIP movements.
  • Handle billing, and POS transactions accurately.
  • Compile daily activity and occupancy reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety, and security procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to ensure readiness and guest satisfaction.

Performance & Standards

  • Implement and monitor front office SOPs and service protocols.
  • Maintain records of guest feedback and recommend service improvements.
  • Support the Hotel Manager in auditing, training, and process optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in front office operations within a hotel or serviced apartment environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software.

The Ideal Candidate should reside along Idimu/Ikotun axis

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
