Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative who is very fluent in speaking French to join our flooring company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our wide range of flooring products—such as SPC floors, vinyl, laminate, carpets, WPC decking, and wall panels—to both retail and corporate clients.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calls, and digital platforms.
  • Present, promote, and sell flooring products to prospective and existing customers.
  • Conduct on-site visits to understand client needs and provide suitable flooring solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, samples, and quotations to clients.
  • Follow up on sales leads, close deals, and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all product lines, features, and installation processes.
  • Collaborate with the design, installation, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, builders, architects, and contractors.
  • Keep accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and market trends.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and marketing events to represent the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE/OND/HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Proven experience (1+ years) in sales, preferably within the building materials, flooring, or interior decor industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation and customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of design trends, interior finishing, and construction is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license (if required for field sales)
  • Must be very conversant with the use of social media platforms to grow sales
