Key Responsibilities
- Source and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Track sales pipeline and provide weekly performance reports
- Represent the company professionally during virtual meetings and presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met
- Prepare and submit weekly activity reports
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure smooth onboarding for new clients
- Schedule and lead virtual sales meetings with clients
- Support proposal writing and respond to RFPs or client briefs
- Attend virtual networking events, webinars, and professional forums to generate leads
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in business development or sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with CRMs such Brevo, HubSpot, Zoho CRM and other Zoho apps
- Ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Familiarity with engineering, technology, or design sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience using LinkedIn for lead generation is an added advantage
- Familiarity with construction, engineering, technology, or design sectors is an advantage
- Good time management and lead-tracking ability
