Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria Heritage Energy Operational Services Full time ₦1,500,000 - ₦3,000,000 per year

About the Role

This is not a traditional administrative position. It is a strategic and enduring partnership with the Chief Executive Officer — designed for a seasoned professional who finds purpose in operational excellence, leadership support, and long-term organizational impact.
You will be the CEO's trusted anchor, managing critical decisions, relationships, and priorities that define the company's success.

Core Mandate

You will operate across three pillars: Strategic Alignment, Operational Leadership, and Executive Continuity.

1. Strategic Alignment

  • Translate financial, operational, and project data into actionable insights for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Prepare Board materials, business performance reports, and decision-support analysis.
  • Track strategic initiatives and ensure delivery timelines are met.
  • Coordinate engagements with Joint Venture partners, regulators, and government stakeholders, ensuring alignment with HEOSL's strategic direction.

2. Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the CEO's calendar, travel, and high-level meetings across Nigeria and abroad.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the CEO's office and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring decisions are followed through.
  • Draft and review all correspondence, reports, and communications to the highest professional standard.
  • Coordinate logistics for strategic meetings, offsites, and leadership events.

3. Executive Continuity & Institutional Memory

  • Ensure seamless information flow and documentation across the CEO's office.
  • Maintain oversight of the CEO's office budget and expense control.
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects that improve business performance.
  • Guard all sensitive information with absolute discretion and integrity.
  • Provide organizational stability and institutional memory through consistent partnership and stewardship.

Who You Are

You are a career executive professional someone who thrives in building long-term impact rather than chasing short-term promotion. You take pride in precision, professionalism, and the quiet influence that drives enterprise success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
  • MBA or relevant advanced qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience supporting C-level executives in a high-performance corporate environment ideally within energy, infrastructure, or financial services.

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical and financial literacy; able to interpret business data and budgets.
  • Expert in developing polished, executive-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated skill in translating complex ideas into clear, compelling slides.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides for executive storytelling.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced project-management capabilities (Agile, Lean, or PMI preferred).
  • Proficient in digital productivity and collaboration tools.
  • Deep understanding of organizational dynamics and stakeholder influence.
  • A proven ability to anticipate needs and stay three steps ahead

Personal Attributes

  • Professional maturity and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Unwavering confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Composed, dependable, and deeply reliable over time.
  • High emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal tact.
  • Commitment to continuity, consistency, and excellence in delivery.
