Role Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. This role requires strong technical expertise in geotechnics and construction. The successful candidate will supervise project site operations, including pile installation and other foundation works, enforce quality control, mentor junior engineers, and ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, and cost targets. You will also support construction planning and contribute to the improvement of engineering processes across all project phases. Key

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers, review design specifications, bidding documents, and construction schedules.
  • Oversee pile installation activities and provide on-site supervision to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Manage geotechnical design of complex systems, including deep foundations, retaining walls, and ground reinforcement.
  • Supervise other construction activities such as excavation, earthworks, soil improvement, and concrete works.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet required performance and safety standards.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers and site supervisors.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and progress updates to management and clients.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader engineering objectives.
  • Develop and enforce QA/QC procedures for construction and geotechnical operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to soil stability, groundwater control, and overall structural integrity.
  • Promote continuous improvement through the adoption of modern tools, materials, and construction methods.
  • Support the preparation of feasibility studies, tender documentation, and bid evaluations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.Eng./B.Tech. or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil/geotechnical engineering and construction supervision.
  • Proven experience in pile installation supervision and construction site management.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of industry standards, construction codes, and engineering best practices.
  • Proficiency in engineering and construction management software (e.g., Civil 3D and AutoCAD).
  • Registered membership with relevant professional bodies (e.g., COREN, NSE).
