ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will supervise infrastructure and foundation projects, analyze technical plans, conduct inspections, and ensure all construction activities align with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. You will also be involved in project planning, budgeting, and reporting, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and review designs for foundations, retaining structures, ground improvement, and slope stabilization.
  • Monitor and supervise construction activities, including piling, excavation, soil reinforcement, and geotechnical investigations.
  • Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including reports, method statements, and QA/QC records.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
  • Recommend design/process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce construction risks.
  • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and progress reporting for civil/geotechnical works.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, site assessments, and construction risk evaluations.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. A master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering, preferably with site supervision background.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
  • Excellent planning, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
