About the Role

Jocam Nigeria Limited is seeking to employ a smart, result driven Sourcing and Admin Officer who will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, from interpreting technical requirements to final delivery. This role requires a sharp, articulate individual who can navigate Tenders and RFQs while maintaining the standards of administrative efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Thoroughly analyze Request for Quotations (RFQs) to understand technical specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Source globally for multiple sources and price options for the item(s) in an articulate and timely manner, bearing in mind the tender closing date.
  • Tabulate findings for superior analysis and approval
  • Calculate other costs including freight and clearing costs in order to arrive at selling price.
  • Tender Preparation, documentation, and submission of competitive tender bids.
  • Identify and vet reliable local and international suppliers; understand "where to source" for specialized items.
  • Evaluate requests against the original request to ensure zero compromise on quality while negotiating the best market price.

Perform Administrative Operations

  • Maintain a robust database of pre-qualified vendors and price benchmarks.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of Purchase Orders(POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Must be highly articulate with the ability to present sourcing reports and bid evaluations clearly.
  • Ability to compare complex quotes and identify the "best value" beyond just the cheapest price.
  • Proven track record of negotiating favorable terms and credit facilities with suppliers.
  • Uncompromising ethical standards in procurement and vendor relations.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel for price comparison and data tracking.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
